RENTAL CONDITIONS

Minimum hire: 3 days

Minimum age: 21 years for the car groups A. B, C, D, E, G, K and M, 25 years for all other car groups

Driving license: National driving license must be at least one year old

Registration fee: Locally a registration fee of 1.57 € per day has to be paid for a term of lease of maximal 18 days

Pick up the car: The rental car of the AVIS Company can be picked up at the airport of Lamezia Terme

(times of hiring: 9 a.m. – 11.15 p.m.) On weekdays the delivery of the car to your hotel is possible on requenst and at an extra charge (Usually 22 €/delivery). Please indicate the exact time and place of pick up and return when you book the car! The rental day begins from the time you pick up the car!

Insurance: The lease price also includes both fully comprehensive insurance and insurance against theft

The excess in the event of damage amounts to 850 € for the car groups A, B, C, D, E, I, J and N.

In case of theft the excess amounts to 1,300 € for the same car groups.

By closing extra insurances it is possible to exclude any kind of excess.

Locally a bailment is necessary (per credit card). Your credit card will only be charged in case of damage or any other noncontractual incidences.

We accept: American Express, Diners, Mastercard, Visa or AVIS Charge Card, Air Travle Card.

Conditions for hiring a car with credit card:
By credit card a deposit equal to the excess cost of deposit

Common Conditions for hiring a car without credit card:
1.The security guarantee, which had to be paid cash at the AVIS station, amounts to 2,550 €
This amount is put together as follows:
- Excess for fully comprehensive insurance for car group B: 850 €
- Excess for theft insurance for car group B: 1,700 €
2. On request it is possible to contract an additional insurance (Exclusion of excess in case of damage or theft). In this case the security guarantee is reduced to 150 €. The fees for the additional insurance amount 23 € a day for car group B and have to be paid on location.

Condition of teh car: All cars of the AVIS Company are max. 2 years old and are maintained regularly
