ITINERARY

Day 1: Benvenuti in Calabria Arrival at the airport of Lamezia Terme and transfer zu the booked hotel. Day 2: Coast of Capo Vaticano After the breakfast in the hotel. Right away the first stage of our journey is one of the most beautiful! We cycle from Pizzo to Tropea and experience the wonderful coast of Capo Vaticano. Pizzo is a magical little place, which dominates the bay of Sant’Eufemia, from a heavenly position on the steep cliffs and is an important fishing and holiday centre. In Tropea we find both a picturesque little coastal town as well as dream beaches. On the way to Vibo Valentia we slowly feel our way into the interior of the country.

Day 3: Trip to the hinterland

Breakfast in the hotel. Afterwards we ride by bike to Cania. From here the bus takes us to Vibo Valentia.

Day 4: Scenic beauties

After the breakfast the bus takes us to Pizzo. From here we ride by to the Lago Angitola, a beautiful lake and nesting side for many different birds - it is a nature reserve. Dinner in the hotel in Brognaturo.

Day 5: Cross Country in the forest

We visit Serra S. Bruno a baroque town in the Serra. Afterwards we start for a cross-country-tour in the forest in the Serre. Dinner in the hotel in Brognaturo.

Day 6: Cattolica di Stilo

From Brognaturo the bus takes us to Stilo. This little town contains one of the oldest and well maintained Byzantine churches: the Cattolica, a jewel of Byzantine art.

Day 7: Freetime

Today you can choose what activity you want to do. Either you lie on the beach, visit the nice coast-towns or start another bike-tour. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 8:
After a last Italian breakfast, transfer to airport and return journey
